  1. They started their career with the rather tepid "L'Ultimo Viaggio", but by the time of "Io e Il Tempo", their 3rd album, Nuova Era were firing on all cylinders. The basic foundation of the classic Italo sound are here: Classically based compositions, turn-on-a-dime rhythms, impassioned vocals (in Italian of course), and expertly played instruments.

Fabulous, different, "Coulonneux" the debut album of JULVERNE it's one of the lost jewels of the 70's, a very soft RIO, very different to Samla Mammas Manna, Henry Cow or Art Zoyd, a little bit of Opus Avantra maybe. 10 instrumental songs, none of them hard or speed, only quiet and soft songs. the RIO scene in Europe in the last years of the 70's decade, it's very wide, and we can find a lot.

  3. Ascoltate ed esaltatevi come ho fatto io fin dal primo ascolto: difficilmente negli ultimi tempi (e anche nei precedenti) ho ascoltato e riascoltato così volentieri un album di un gruppo italiano. Alberto Nucci.

Spirosfera Umanamnesi St. Tropez Icarus Curses and Invocations Statale 17 / Emphasis Rock Scene La Bibbia e Io come Io virano pesantemente sul hard e, al di là del genere, sono a mio avviso complessivamente evitabili e non meritevoli di essere inseriti nella guideline. è chiaro che se dovessi giudicare gli album.
